The youth were busy this weekend:
Saturday night the Croteau family hosted the annual Middle School Christmas party. After dinner a girls team and a boys team got to work on a gingerbread house.
Can you guess which team created the front and which the back?
For the Yankee Swap, candy was the favored gift and no one was disappointed.
Sunday we gathered at St. John’s and went to Green Leaf Rec Center to organize Christmas presents that parents in the neighborhood will select for their children. The Center serves over 500 families.
There was plenty of work to do – 19 from St John’s worked for more than an hour to help with the project. We ended with Eucharist served in the dining room at Green Leaf.
