What a wonderful school year we’ve had as a St John’s family. As our program year comes to a close, we wanted to gather our families one more time before heading into “summer schedule.” Here are the details:
When: Saturday, May 11
The Haight’s House
7 Newington Road
Arctic temps? Crazy children spending too much time inside? Adults in need of socialization? Must be time for another gathering of food, families, and fun!
Here’s the plan:
Where: The Haight’s House (7 Newington Road Greenland, NH) What: Food (potluck style), drinks, conversation When: Sunday, January 20th 4pm-7pm Why: to enjoy some hang out time with other St John’s families Bring: Anything! (beer, dessert, a smile, apps, cheese & crackers, fruit, open bottles of wine, veggie tray, side dish, chips, poorly behaved children, moonshine, etc.) Bonus: Some people (the children) have the next day off! Monday the 21st is MLK day
*FYI– We will make pulled pork sliders for the main course. Questions: contact Jen Haight for more info email@example.com or (970) 485-9330
Hope to see you next weekend! If you want to sign up so we can see what food you’re bringing, or not bringing, click here: Google Doc
The next gathering will likely be in early March- the weekend of the 9th/10th, let us know if you want to host!! If you want to stay connected to the St. John’s families on FB, please join our family group!
The purpose of Family Night is to welcome one another in our homes and lives beyond Sunday morning. It’s a fun time for both children and adults to hang out and enjoy one another’s company. Sharing food, drinks and fun is the only agenda for these gatherings. Most of the families have little ones, but that is not a requirement for attendance, so everyone should feel welcome to join!
FAMILY NIGHT #1
When: Sunday, November 11
Hosts: Kelly and Jack Boston
Address: 465 Cutts Ave, Portsmouth
Contact (for questions or directions) Kelly Cell: (603) 205-0373
What to bring: beer, wine, any side dish, desserts, veggie tray, fruit tray, chips, etc.
FAMILY NIGHT #2
January 12th or 13th
Family Nights are usually held from 4-7, but it’s a very casual “drop in” situation, so families should come and go whenever it works best for them. The meals are pot luck style, so if you cook or bake something amazing to share we will love it! If you show up with wine and an open bag of chips, we will also love it 😊
The host families rotate, so if you’re interested in hosting a family night, let us know- we’d love to put you on the calendar!
